Letter from the President
As I write this message, we’ve just wrapped up another wonderful school year at Centralia Christian School. The year was full of blessings and progress, and we’re already looking forward to what God has in store for us this fall when classes begin again in September.
One of our most cherished events—Grandparents Day—will take place in October. The Foundation is proud to host this special occasion each year. Grandparents are invited to visit their grandchildren’s classrooms, participate in Chapel, and enjoy a time of recognition and fellowship with our Foundation Board. It’s always a joyful day and a powerful reminder of the legacy of faith and education being passed on to the next generation.
Then in March, we’ll hold our Annual Auction Dinner—our biggest fundraising event of the year. This event raises vital funds for tuition assistance, building and grounds improvements, special projects, and our long-term Endowment Fund. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve made meaningful progress: the building received a fresh coat of paint, and we were able to resealed the parking lot.
But the work isn’t done. We are currently raising funds to pave the much-needed parking lot on the south side of campus. In addition, our aging roof is in serious need of repair—we’ve been patching leaks and tightening screws for over 15 years. With your continued support and by God’s grace, we trust that the necessary funds will come, and His school will be well cared for.
As costs continue to rise, Centralia Christian School struggles to keep tuition costs reasonable and still pay teachers and cover operating costs—The Foundation has identified a new long-term goal: to begin raising funds to help support general operations such as utilities, insurance, classroom supplies, and more. This is a 10-year vision, and we believe it’s both timely and achievable. Our hope is to eventually ease the financial burden on families by covering some operational costs through Foundation funding.
To support this vision, we’ve added Legacy Giving and Estate Planning options for donors. As the first step, we’ve launched a brand-new website—myccsf.org—designed to make giving easier and to provide helpful information about both the Foundation and the school. We invite you to explore the site and prayerfully consider how you might partner with us.
There’s much to celebrate—and much more to accomplish. Our close partnership with Centralia Christian School continues to be the key to our shared success, and it is your faithful support that makes all of this possible.
Would you prayerfully consider leaving a legacy by including the CCSF in your estate planning? Your gift would help sustain Christian education for generations to come.
